A good masterpiece home is not your ordinary home. It is in the finest neighborhoods and tucked away on acreage sites. Some masterpiece home makes an impact on those who see it in addition to informs the finest living environment for the family who resides there. It stands to reason that creating a masterpiece home will require multiple steps and many details. Most masterpiece homes focus on site amenities such as gates, boat docks, water includes, golf cart storage, etc . The interiors also usually tend to involve elements like feature walls, intricate tile aspects, draperies/shades, and specialty doors. Those particulars must line up to form a cohesive, balanced whole. Because of their size plus level of detail, getting everything just right in a masterpiece your home takes time and effort. Different professionals with unique skills nerves to work on it, and that can also add another level of complexity to project. However , the result of all of the effort is something which means that beautiful and timeless that it transcends all the hard work.

Almost all people only build one masterpiece home in their lifetime. So it’s important to get it right. After all, everything about a home represents its owner. So what does it look like to go through this process and finished with a true masterpiece? We asked some of our clients that remain through it to weigh in and share their working experience.

Developing the Master Floor Plan

A well-designed floor plan will maximize views, cash in on on breezes, minimize sun exposure and will function for those way the family lives in the home. As one client explained, “We’ve lived in homes before where we had to just make important things work the way they were, but when we designed our family home with Jenkins, we got to choose exactly how it should function in the way we truly live. ” She went on to explain that initially they thought their previous home’s plan might work well for the new home site. They possibly even brought their floor plan in and showed it again to the team. However , the design team surprised them just by proposing some unique twists to the old favorite. “After the Lifestyle Analysis interview, they all knew my taste and even preferences so well that they were able to keep the things that were crucial for you to me but change the things that could and should be better, especially for the property that we were building on”. So often there are details about our lives that could be improved with a few subtle changes, maybe perhaps even new technology or features that we didn’t know exist. Possessing team of professionals who not only have knowledge about features that can be found and how they perform but who also understand the specified family and their lifestyle can really add value to the challenge.

Developing Exterior and Interior Materials

Once the floor system is established, the details for the exterior and interior begin to build up. This is where colors, textures, materials, size, and balance in order to evolve. It is also where the lines between Architect and Rooms Designer begin to blur. Certain items, such as window ranking and exterior colors, for example , affect both interiors together with architecture. In fact , it is safe to say that the overlap around these two disciplines can cause confusion at times, especially when the different martial arts work for independent firms.

designing masterpiece homeThis is why for Jenkins, our Architecture and Interiors are both in-house. It again allows the design team to designate a Team Cause and clearly define roles and responsibilities for each of those Interiors and Architecture. In this way, the professionals from these backgrounds can easily collaborate together to achieve the overarching goal or concept of the the project. As one client told us, “I never truly knew who came up with an idea. I just knew that within different times, different people would show me ideas, and that the whole entire team worked together behind the scenes to make it all come together. ”

Case Study

Recently, the design team presented the interiors to a masterpiece home. This particular home is a waterfront Mediterranean form custom home builder New Braunfels Texas with elegant, timeless interiors. In this early section, the interiors are conceptual rather than fully developed. So the squad presented each room in conceptual form, explaining their valuable vision for the spaces to get client feedback. After enjoying the client’s thoughts on each room, the spaces become developed into 3D visualizations, or renderings. These will be photo-realistic “pictures” of what the room will look like with all the right items and colors. As one of our clients recently told us, “If I had known the level of detail and understanding I was able to get about the spaces in my home while we were coming up with it, wow! I just didn’t realize the incredible pictures that we were going to get during the design process, however made all the difference. ” Of course , that step comes basically after this concept phase is complete.

This is one of the Restaurants Rooms in the early concept phase, below. The design company clarified that not everything in this first image grades the space. For example , they explained that the paneling style size and scale but without all the applied overlay products represented the style they wanted to use on a feature outlet. They talked about the height of the space and how this pattern would work in their dining room. They also discussed the flooring and how could possibly look with the accompanying floors in the next room and how on many occasions they’d tie it in so that it would flow. They looked over how they would balance the space, being careful not to travel quite so heavy as the inspiration photo but how they would you think like the overall tone of the room.
